Children and Elderly Care Center
One day, a widow brought her 2 sons aged 12 & 16 who were then studying 6th & 11th grades and said, "Pastor, my husband died with HIV and I am also now infected with HIV and am worried about the future of my sons. All our relatives rejected us. Please help me." Then I started taking care of those 2 boys, made them go to school, announced in our church requesting people to help. After a few days, another mother came with her son with a same story and we accepted him too. And later, a few 'Kodhu' tribal boys who were working in the fields in the hot sun happened to meet me and expressed their willingness to come and join in the school. And I said, "Yes". That was how 8 boys have now completed their technical studies in various fields, 14 boys are now at the Care Centre. These boys are from our congregations, but are not outsiders.
Note: Omega Foundation has been helping their needs partly. Now this Care Centre needs an own building and many other facilities for the children. You may help them too or let your friends do so.
